To put it simply, Row House Cinema is a fantastic night out. We’re an 84-seat single screen theater in a historic loft building in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood.

Row House opened in June of 2014 with a special screening of Pulp Fiction, and since show over 250 new, old, popular, weird, amazing, and obscure movies films per year on our single screen. Every week we choose a theme and show movies to match that theme, which can range from Akira Kurosawa, Introduction to French New Wave Cinema, or Tight Pants Week, a celebration of films where the lead male actor wears iconically tight pants.

We serve locally made concessions and our famous all-natural popcorn, and we have a massive and unique selection of beer available in our adjoining bottle shop.

Throughout the year we host Brew & Views (screenings with themed beers served at key points in the movie), Cereal Cinemas (morning movies with all you can eat cereal bars), lectures, major film festivals, and more!

We also are home to an active film club that is almost 500 movie lovers strong!

Our mission is to show awesome movies and to help build a stronger film community in Pittsburgh through our unique programming.
